Schilens is apparently healing very well, so grab him near the end of your draft, as he's the best receiver on the Raiders (though that isn't saying much). 45-550-4.
Positives / Upside Oakland may fairly often be forced to pass playing from behind. Despite a rough patch in weeks 13-15, the Raiders passing schedule is mostly easy. Schilens is apparently pretty much guaranteed a prominent role in the Raider passing game.
Negatives / Downside With injury, will not likely be effective until a few weeks into the season. JaMarcus Russell isn't the most accurate of quarterbacks.

Schilens out with broken foot

Chaz Schilens is currently recovering from surgery on the fifth metatarsal bone in his foot. He could conceivably be back by Week 3 but is unlikely to be productive until a few weeks later. He is now a very late pick in deep drafts and waiver-wire fodder in shallower ones.
