Take him as your WR3 or 4 in Round Eight. 65-850-5.
Positives / Upside He'll be the #1 target on the Rams now. He is surely talented.
Negatives / Downside His quarterback, Marc Bulger, is not very good anymore. The team will surely focus on Steven Jackson as much as possible, preferring to make passing an afterthought. Avery actually isn't the best fit for the team's West Coast Offense.
Recommendation Buy at cost

Avery hurt foot

X-Rays in early August confirmed a stress fracture in Avery's foot. He was to potentially miss the first couple of regular season weeks, but it now looks like he'll be ready for Week 1. No need to adjust projections, but if you have a shot at a similar player with two feet that are 100%, perhaps consider them over Avery.
