The Chargers have a fairly neutral passing schedule in 2009. Someone will take Gates in the fifth round. Let him go, load up on RB & WR, and take one of many solid TE options which will be available later. 75-950-9.

Positives / Upside	He's a clear stud at the tight end position and a pretty sure lock for 8-to-10 TDs.
Negatives / Downside	Seems to often be banged up, though he hasn't missed a game since 2005.
Recommendation	Only at a discount
