He won't surprise anybody this year like he did last year, unfortunately, but the anouncement of Chris brown as the goal-line back should drop his ADP enough to be worthwhile for you in 09. 280-1250-5-45-330-1.
Positives / Upside He's young and spry. The Texans have a powerhouse offense. The defense is improving. Schedule-wise, the Texans running game could get off to a slow start against the Jets and Titans, but after that, it really eases up.
Negatives / Downside Small body, could end up playing banged up most of the year or even missing time. Chris Brown should steal most goal line carries.
Recommendation Buy at cost
Draft Position 18

Slaton placed on IR
written by DaveGawron, December 13, 2009
Slaton is now on injured reserve and will not play again this season. Chris Brown and Ryan Moats will split most of the Texans' backfield reps. We like Moats better for fantasy purposes, and he could have a really good game in Week 16 in St. Louis.
