Chris Johnson was apparently not drafted early enough in fantasy drafts last year. There was concern about Johnson getting enough touches. True, he shared the workload with LenDale White, but the Tennessee defense was so good, the Titans rarely had to pass the ball, so there were enough carries to go around. He still carried the ball 251 times. There were concerns that he might be fragile and not hold up through the full season. Johnson played in 15 games as a rookie, only missing the final contest. He showed what a skilled receiver he was by not only catching 43 passes, but also averaging an amazing 17.3 yards per reception. Don’t even entertain thoughts about a sophomore slump. Johnson will be relied upon even more in 2009, and only the fact that White will steal goal line carries prevents Johnson from scoring the most fantasy points of any running back in 2009. 280-1320-8-50-300-1.
