He only threw for over 300 yards only twice in 2008, and had just five multiple touchdown games (never topping two in a game). He actually had a pedestrian start to the season, not topping 200 passing yards in any of his first five games. He then went on a great run from Week Six through Week 14, before fizzling in his final three games. He’s a good young player in a good situation at least worthy of a fantasy platoon for his easier match-ups. Start thinking about the NFL’s 2008 Rookie of the Year in the seventh round and perhaps take him in the eighth. Do take a quality platoon-mate shortly after if you get him, though. 3500-20-12 (40-80-1 rushing).

Positives / Upside	Ryan had one of the best fantasy football seasons for a rookie quarterback last season, and the hard-working young man should only get better, especially with All-World tight end Tony Gonzalez now a teammate. Ryan already has two good receivers in Roddy White and Michael Jenkins.
Negatives / Downside	Do be advised not to expect big yardage or touchdown totals due to his team’s strong rushing game and preference to run, but as seen last season, Ryan can turn it on when he needs to.
