The best of Barry Zito is long gone. However, his second half last year is encouraging, and why I don't expect him to come close to maintaining that level of success, I do think Zito will be a reliable option to plug into the bottom of your fantasy rotation. He makes for a nice low investment option on draft or auction day. 12-0-160-4.00-1.35 in 195 IP

Positives / Upside	When you take a step back and look at it, Zito's 2009 season was actually pretty decent. He finished with a 10 wins, a 4.03 ERA, 154 strikeouts, and a 1.35 WHIP. Furthermore, his numbers after the All-Star break, 5-4, a 2.83 ERA, and 74 strikeouts in 84.0 IP, compare favorably to the Barry Zito of five years ago. Zito finally looks like he has figured things out, could put together a fine season for the Giants in 2010.
Negatives / Downside	He is still only one season removed from posting an ERA of 5.15 with a WHIP of 1.60. That's not bad, it's terrible. At this point, there is no reason to trust Zito. He did improve in 2009, but a regression is just as likely as continued success in 2010.
