A couple of years ago John Maine struck out 180 batters en route to 15 wins and a 3.91 ERA. To be sure, he walked a few too many people, but all in all the 26 year-old looked primed to be a staple of fantasy staffs for years to come.

And then injuries set in.

But although we have to ask whether he will hold up, he is entering the 2010 season healthy and with that great park behind him. We like him, potentially a lot at the price. 15-0-3.90-1.20-160. 180IP.

Positives / Upside	As a professional, Maine has regularly posted near 8 K/9 with a high of 8.5 in his fine 2007 season. He enters the season in an even better park than the one he was in then and with, theoretically, good health. He's only 29 years old. You can;t rule out a return to what he did in 2007. 15-0-3.90-1.20-180. 195IP
