Schumaker may be the most unexciting decent fantasy player in the league. You'll never be excited to add him to your roster, but you could do worse. I certainly wouldn't want him to be my number one second basemen, but he is a solid option to fill your middle infield spot. .300-85-5-35-5 in 525 at bats

Positives / Upside	Schumaker proved last year that he is an asset to the Cardinals and to fantasy teams. He may not provide much power or speed, but he is a scrappy little hitter who should be able to post an average right around .300 again in 2010. Batting at top of an order that features Albert Pujols and Matt Holliday in the middle guarentees plenty of chances to score runs. Schumaker is nothing exciting, but he is a reliable safe pick.
Negatives / Downside	The sum of his homeruns and stolen bases may not be in the double digits. For a player to be a real fantasy asset, he needs to provide something in the power categories or stolen bases. Sure, he'll put up a nice average and score a good number of runs, but he'll provide next to nothing in homeruns, RBI, and stolen bases.
