Schierholtz isn't an elite prospect, and won't develop into a star. However, he seems to have enough skill to develop into a solid everyday player. He is worth targeting ahead of most of the other veteran outfielders you can acquire for a similar investment. Schierholtz is definitely someone worth taking a chance on. .285-65-15-65-5 in 525 at bats

Positives / Upside	The Giants are finally ready to hand over an everyday job to the 26-year old Schierholtz. In 472 career big league at bats, Schierholtz has hit .284, but only slugged six homeruns. However, from 2004-2008 Schierholtz collected between 14 and 18 homeruns in each of his five minor league seasons. The pop will come, and Schierholtz will likely establish himself as a solid big leaguer in 2010.
Negatives / Downside	Schierholtz has limited upside, and is unlikely to develop into a 20 plus homerun per season player. 2010 will be a make it or break it year for Schierholtz. He may end becoming a solid big league outfielder, or could be labeled as nothing more than a fourth outfielder by season's end.
