Rowand doesn't steal bases anymore and offers moderate power at best. What's worse is that his batting average has dropped 48 points over the past two years. Sure he'll get the at bats and therefore be mildly productive, but his lack of upside means he's worth leaving off your roster. .270-65-15-65-5 in 500 at bats

Positives / Upside	He'll get regular at bats in an improved line-up and is a solid source of cheap power. He only has three more years left on his five year, $60 million dollar contract.
Negatives / Downside	He's about as vanilla as they come. He has really only had two good big league seasons, and is unlikely to ever have a third. He has seen his production drop over the past three years, and the bottom might drop out completely in 2010.
