NFL - 2010 Fantasy Football Week 4 Defense/Special Teams (D/ST) Player Rankings

on Sep 26, 2010
We base our weekly rankings on the strength of opposing defenses overall, individual match-ups, and expected game situations (shoot-out vs. field-goal battle vs. blowout). They're based on the WCOFF/NFFC PPR scoring systems. Hopefully, for the most part, just looking at the rankings helps you figure out who to sit or start. We set the projections early in the week and then comb through them and make any necessary edits on Friday.
DEFENSE/SPECIAL TEAMS
- New Orleans Saints v CAR - Clasuen's still starting. Sign me up
- Pittsburgh Steelers v BAL - Ravens couldn't move the ball against the Jets. The Steelers are better
- New York Jets @ BUF - This isn't the Pats' defense. Fitzpatrick will have some problems moving the ball this week.
- Green Bay Packers v DET - Best is banged up and GB DBs will ball hawk Shaun Hill
- Baltimore Ravens @ PIT - All they need to do is stop Mendenhall
- San Diego Chargers v ARI - Cards offense is sputtering right now. SD better at home
- Cincinnati Bengals @ CLE - Offense should do most the work by controlling the clock
- Tennessee Titans v DEN - Fringe start, but could feast if Orton is off
- Atlanta Falcons v SF - 49ers simply can't move the ball on the road
- Philadelphia Eagles v WAS - McNabb couldn't cut it in STL. How's a return back to Philly going to treat him.
- St. Louis Rams v SEA - Seahawks aren't the same team on the road.
- Seattle Seahawks @ STL - Special teams and turnovers are their Forte
- Denver Broncos @ TEN - Vince Young is no stranger to turnovers
- Cleveland Browns v CIN - The Bengals offense will slow the pace. Expect a low scoring affair
- Indianapolis Colts @ JAC - Jags offense it just brutal right now
