We base our weekly rankings on the strength of opposing defenses overall, individual match-ups, and expected game situations (shoot-out vs. field-goal battle vs. blowout). They're based on the WCOFF/NFFC PPR scoring systems. Hopefully, for the most part, just looking at the rankings helps you figure out who to sit or start. We set the projections early in the week and then comb through them and make any necessary edits on Friday.
TIGHT ENDS
- Dallas Clark @ JAC - Of course you're starting him
- Antonio Gates v ARI - It's him and Clark in a tier by themselves
- Vernon Davis @ ATL - Needs to find the endzone to start regaining trust
- Dustin Keller @ BUF - Why not ride the wave?
- Chris Cooley @ PHI - Has had a great amount of success at Philly
- Jermichael Finley v DET - A bit banged up, but the best match up of the week
- John Carlson @ STL - Most targeted TE outside of Clark and Gates
- Zach Miller v HOU - "The Unownable" is shedding that label with Gradkowski at the helm
- Brent Celek v WAS - Needs to prove again. Vick hasn't been good for him
- Tony Gonzalez v SF - Showed up last week. Let's hope he can make it two in a row
- Aaron Hernandez @ MIA - Bye week troubles? Take a flyer. MIA is brutal against the TE
- Greg Olsen @ NYG - Olsen starting to find niche in Martz offense
- Jermaine Gresham @ CLE - It's a nice match up and he's the most targeted Bengal in the redzone
- Jeremy Shockey v CAR - Can't be trusted week-to-week, but he'll have his days
- Kevin Boss v CHI - Came to play last week. Better with yardage than catches
