NFL - 2010 Fantasy Football Week 3 Quarterback (QB) Player Rankings
Posted by: ThePME
on Sep 20, 2010
We base our weekly rankings on the strength of opposing defenses overall, individual match-ups, and expected game situations (shoot-out vs. field-goal battle vs. blowout). They're based on the WCOFF/NFFC PPR scoring systems. Hopefully, for the most part, just looking at the rankings helps you figure out who to sit or start. We set the projections early in the week and then comb through them and make any necessary edits on Friday.
QUARTERBACKS
- Tom Brady @ BUF - 7 TD isn't out of the question against this crew of flunkies
- Aaron Rogers @ CHI - He's the best. The Bears should prove to be no match
- Matt Schaub v DAL - Dallas made Cutler look like Otto Graham last week
- Peyton Manning @ DEN - Back-to-back 3 TD games
- Tony Romo @ HOU - Romo is going to break through one of these weeks
- Joe Flacco v CLE - After two terrible match-ups, Flacco is ready to unleash this offense
- Drew Brees @ ATL - Falcons have been excellent against the pass through two weeks. This will be a test for Brees
- Philip Rivers @ SEA - Two great weeks. Why stop now?
- Brett Favre v DET - He's needs a softy and the Lions can't stop anyone
- Jay Cutler v GB - Monday night. Cutler tends to elevate his game for Prime Time
- Michael Vick @ JAC - Won the starting job. Should do the same on your fantasy team
- Donovan McNabb @ STL - Great match up. Hopefully he can nap a TD or two this week to go with those yards
- David Garrard v PHI - The Eagles secondary is pitiful and Garrard is always better at home
- Kyle Orton v IND - Two solid week and is bound to be down
- Chad Henne v NYJ - Absolutely owned Jets last year
- Carson Palmer @ CAR - only this high due to lack of better options
- Eli Manning @ TEN - Not a super match up but has produced each week
- Mark Sanchez @ MIA - Why not roll the dice? 403 yards, 3 TD, 0 INT in two games vs MIA last season
- Matt Ryan @ NO - 2 TD, 4 INT in last two outings against NO
- Alex Smith @ KC - Those weapons are still there
