[Sorry there's not more big fantasy relevant news... slow week!]

5. May, Sean PF was released by NJ

The once promising big man just can't keep his conditioning up, plus he just broke his foot. We can pretty safely declare his fantasy career over at this point.

4. Price, A.J. PG IND is playing again

There could be an opportunity for decent minutes in the Pacers back-court, so do monitor his progress as he returns from a fractured knee-cap. Lance Stephenson was viewed as a potential starter, but with his recent off-court problems, he'd have to be happy with just making the team at this juncture.

3. West, Delonte G (CLE) signed with BOS

He's suspended for the first ten games of the season, but the Celtics don't care about that -- they want him for the playoffs. He may only average 20 minutes per night behind Allen and Rondo in the regular season, but if one of them gets hurt, he becomes an immediate pick-up.

2. Ilyasova, Ersan F MIL is having a good summer

He's playing well for Turkey. His minutes may be inconsistent for the Bucks this year, but he should be worth taking late in deep leagues, providing some points, boards, and threes. He should do better with Bogut out of the line-up for a while and Gooden shifting to center.

1. Bogut, Andrew C MIL is hurting

Bogut may miss the first month or more of the regular season. He'll miss a hand specialist this week. At this point, we'd onlydraft him at an extreme discount.

ALSO

Derrick Rose PG CHI is working on his three point shot. If he can start hitting threes, definitely move him up in your rankings... Kelenna Azubuike SF NY can't run or jump yet. He still has time to get ready for the regular season, but we're not touching him in drafts... Tyler Hansbrough PF IND is still dealing with his illness. It's too bad, because the starting PF gig is up for grabs. Continue to monitor the situation... James Singleton PF (WAS) will play in China this season. Just an FYI... The following players signed this past week, but they aren't likely to be fantasy assets: just Etan Thomas C (OKC) ATL and Rodney Carney SF (PHI) GS this week.
