5. Bass, Brandon PF ORL should see more minutes

Rashard Lewis will play more of his natural SF position. Monitor him in the early weeks of November, as he could be a useful reserve fantasy big man in deeper leagues.

4. Andersen, David C (HOU) was traded to TOR

His per minute numbers were actually pretty good in Houston, but he will not likely have any fantasy value backing up Bargnani in Toronto.

3. Oden, Greg C POR should be ready for the start of camp

He has apparently lost weight, too. Still, you have to call him injury prone at this point, and his minutes should be limited behind Camby and Aldridge. He's a desperation pick at the end of deep league drafts that require two centers in starting line-ups.

2. Rush, Brandon SG IND is currently the starter

Rush has teased and disappointed in the past, but he will apparently get a chance to be a legit starter. He does have talent, Larry Bird really wants him to succeed, and he has had an excellent pre-season thus far. He's one to monitor in deep leagues

1. Perkins, Kendrick C BOS expects to return in February

The Celtics will be happy to get him back for the stretch run and playoffs. He's too risky to draft in h2h leagues, though, even if you want a late-season push in rebounds and blocks.

ALSO

The following players signed this past week, but they aren't likely to be fantasy assets: Joey Graham F/G (DEN) CLE, Eddie House PG (NY) MIA, Von Wafer F/G (HOU) BOS, and Jason Collins C ATL.
