NOTE: Adding a proven winner in Delhomme should help this offense flow better. Won't lose much with Brady or Anderson gone. Adding multi-useful QB Seneca Wallace gives the team more flexibility to go along with their star Joshua Cribbs.
THE BIG QUESTION
What will be the effects of adding the veteran Delhomme to their offense?
Obviously, the offense will change dramatically with the ball now being given to a QB who has a track record of success. Some of the blame for the last couple of seasons ('09 Playoffs included) of disappointment for the Carolina Panthers should fall on Delhomme. However, in his defense, after All-Pro WR Steve Smith, he didn't have much to play with in that offense, and clearly the Panthers running game had become a main part of the offense. In the Browns offense, more will be relied on Delhomme to help lead the team to success. However, there's a bunch of inexperience and uncertainty surrounding him. Last season saw glimpses of emergence from RB Jerome Harrison and WR Mohamed Massaquoi, but 2010 will be truly the first full-season for both. Benjamin Watson is a talented veteran TE, but some of his success with the Patriots can be attributed to defenses focusing a ton on All-Pro WRs Randy Moss and Wes Welker. I think its going to take a season or two for this offense to become a successful unit. For this season at least, the main and only attraction for fantasy owners remains WR/KR Joshua Cribbs, who is now a happier Cribbs after receiving his much deserved new contract. Look for coach Mangini to continue to feature Cribbs in the Wildcat and give him some more opportunities in the WR role.
ALSO
After the roughest season of his career in '06-07 (missing 8 FG attempts), K Phil Dawson has recovered nicely, missing only a combined 12 FG attempts the last three seasons... No surprise with Cribbs being the team's main returner again, and after his first five seasons over 1,000-return yards, there's no reason to believe he won't continue his success in '10.

NOTE: This offense's dynamic will change with the newly acquired veteran Delhomme and the multi-purpose Wallace. The full-time RB role is clearly Harrison's. Look for Cribbs to get more opportunities as WR. Delhomme will finally have a weapon in the middle with TE Watson.
