5. Moeaki, Tony TE KC looks good so far
He may not be the best blocker, but he has excellent hands receiving. The only question with him coming out of college was durability, so we'll see how his body holds up, but if it does, he could be a bye-week replacement/FLEX commodity as soon as this season.
4. Foster, Arian RB HOU is currently the starter
He is sure to give way to comeback candidate Steve Slaton and rookie Ben Tate often, but if your draft were today, Foster would be worthy of a mid-to-late round pick in case he takes the job and runs with it (no pun intended).
3. Shipley, Jordan WR CIN is impressive thus far
The rookie still needs to beat out Campell to start in the slot, but that seems likely at this point. It's also questionable how many targets he'll get with Ochocinco and Bryant out wide. Still, he could be a serious late-round steal in deep PPR leagues if things fall into place. He's a solid talent and a hard worker.
2. Ginn, Ted WR SF in not impressing his new team
He was a bust in Miami and will be a bust for the 49ers. He'll likely lose his starting job in the slot in the regular season if not in the pre-season. Ignore Ginn in your fantasy league.
1. Smith, Steve WR CAR broke his arm
He is expected to need ten weeks to heal. He will miss the pre-season but be ready for the regular season. So perhaps expect a little rust in the first regular season week or so, but feel free to use the injury to your advantage and draft him at a discount.
ALSO
Dexter McCluster WR/RB KC is looking like he could be really valuable as a slot receiver in the NFL and PPR steal in 2010... Santana Moss WR WAS is looking good in his recovery from off-season knee surgery... Marc Bulger QB (STL) signed with BAL. He'll back up Joe Flacco and may not see the field in a regular season game in 2010.
