5. Thomas, Tyrus PF CHA is thinking of terminating his contract
He has an option to do so, although he really hasn't put up numbers worthy of big bucks yet. Where he winds up will have a lot to do with his final draft day value.
4. Alston, Rafer PG MIA wants to go to NY
That would actually be a good move. The Knicks need a PG. Alston's good in an up-tempo offense. They don't want to spend much money to fill out their team currently full of free agents. It's logical on all counts.
3. Bosh, Chris PF TOR may end up in MIA
We all know he and Wade are good friends. If he somehow doesn't end up in Miami, look for the Heat to go after Amare Stoudemire or Carlos Boozer. They want a scoring big man for Wade to work off of in the offense. With Bosh all but definitely leaving Toronto, look for the Raptors to trade Calderon, Turkoglu, and Jarret Jack.
2. O'Neal, Shaquille C CLE is open to signing with DAL
That could be a nice fit for him, with Jason Kidd getting him the rock. He'd also have Dirk and Terry outside to hit the long shot. He's only a 25-minute player right now, but he's a heck of a lot better than Haywood and Dampier.
1. James, LeBron SF CLE may stay put for three years
The Cavs have added Mo Williams, Shaq, and Antawn Jamison lately to attempt to win a championship with King James. Apparently, LeBron may allow them a little more time to continue with that process. The speculation is that after the three yearshe would move onto the Nets, part-owned by Jay-Z.
ALSO
Tayshaun Prince SF DET is rumored to be possibly traded on the night of the NBA Draft. Look for changes in Detroit this off-season... Grant Hill SF PHO exercised his player option and will stay with the Suns. It's a good fit for him there with Steve Nash and company, so despite the advanced age, expect another good year from Hill this season... Maurice Evans SG exercised his player option to remain with the Hawks in 2010-11. With Bibby, Crawford, and perhaps Johnson still in tow, it's not a great fit for playing time, but if Johnson leaves, perhaps Evans could snag more minutes. He's not likely a fantasy factor either way... Andres Nocioni SF SAC wants out of Sacramento. Just an FYI. If he ends up staying there, he may be unhappy... The Heat will aggressively pursue a big power forward this off-season. This will push Udonis Haslem to the bench... The new Wiz GM told Washington that they need to re-embrace Gilbert Arenas. This makes it sound like he won't be traded... It looks like Doug Collins will start Jrue Holiday at PG next year and bring Lou Williams off the bench as a sixth man... O.J. Mayo SG MEM may play some point guard next year... Nicolas Batum SF POR hopes to be a starter next season.
