We have many great articles planned leading up to the 2010 Fantasy Football season including sleepers, busts, rookies, strategy, full player rankings and projections all wrapped up into a nifty draft kit to help you win your league next year. Below, we analyze the top fantasy football news items from the previous week.

5. Taylor, Chester RB (MIN) signed with CHI

This is good news for the Bears but bad news for Matt Forte, as Taylor's presence will certainly take away from Forte's production. Taylor's role should be no different than it was in MIN, so expect similar numbers from him.

4. Jones, Thomas RB (NYJ) signed with KC

Jones will serve in a severely reduced role with the Chiefs, simply spelling Charles when needed. TJ is now a very low-end consideration in fantasy. His biggest effect could be pilfering goal line carries from Charles.

3. Bryant, Antonio WR (TB) signed with CIN

Bryant is talented, but he can't stay healthy. Though he'll help the CIN offence when he's 100% and on the field, don't expect that to happen for more than half a season, at most. Let somebody else draft him.

2. Burleson, Nate WR (SEA) signed with DET

Matthew Stafford really needed another weapon on the field besides Calvin Johnson, and now he has one. Burleson is notoriously brittle, but he certainly will help when on the field. Because of the injury history, we suggest drafting Burleson as nothing more than a fantasy WR3, and if you take him, make sure you have a good back-up.

1. Boldin, Anquan WR (ARI) was traded to BAL

This is good news for Boldin, as he is now a WR1 in the NFL and not just fantasy. Don't worry about extra coverage, because the Ravens re-signed Derrick Mason to play opposite Boldin. They also have Ray Rice catching passes out of the backfield and Todd Heap still catching them down the middle of the field. This is one dangerous offense.

ALSO

Clinton Portis RB WAS is still viewed as a starter by his new coach. As a 2009 Portis owner, I'll be staying away in 2010, even if he comes at a discount. I just don't think he "has it" anymore... Seneca Wallace QB (SEA) was traded to CLE. He'll compete for the starting job and becomes a fantasy QB2 sleeper candidate... Coach McDaniels is supporting Eddie Royal WR DEN though he struggled mightily in 2009. He regressed after a phenomenal rookie year. He could end up being a late-round steal... Roy Williams WR DAL may not win a starting job this season. His salary says that he'll be given every chance, but we say he's not likely to ever be a useful fantasy WR... Julius Peppers DE (CAR) signed with CHI. This is great news for the Bears D/ST. He offers a serious upgrade... The Panthers cut Jake Delhomme QB, who will likely never again be useful in fantasy. Matt Moore becomes their QB1. He's simply managing a run-first offense, so he's only useful as a low-end fantasy QB2... Jared Cook TE TEN should play a larger role in the Titans offense this season. At best, he'd be a low-end fantasy TE2, but this is encouraging for Dynasty-leaguers holding onto him right now, as he still has a shot at being useful in 2012. PIT signed WRs Arnaz Battle and Antwaan Randle El. Neither will warrant fantasy consideration, as WR4 is the highest they'll get on the PIT WR depth chart.
