5. Lynch, Marshawn RB (BUF) is rumored to be on the trading block
He could land with the Chargers, which should be a pretty good fit. His departure would allow Fred Jackson to be the featured back for the Bills. the poor surrounding personnel could hurt his production, but he could still do enough damage to be used as a fantasy RB2 in PPR leagues.
4. McGahee, Willis RB will be retained by BAL in 2010
He'll be insurance for Ray Rice, should Rice get hurt. However, McGahee is also likely to severely limit Rice's TD total. Rice is still a Top 5 back, but the lack of touchdowns prevents him from being Numbero Uno.
3. Tomlinson, LaDainian RB was released by SD
We weren't high on him in 2009, and a move to a new team at age 31 doesn't bode well for his 2010 season. He has so much mileage on his tires, while he could still potentially score touchdowns, he shouldn't be a featured back any longer and he'll have trouble ever approaching 3.5 yards per carry again. He could possibly do well as a third-down back catching passes in PPR leagues. We'll have to see where he ends up. LenDale White is another possibility for the starting SD RB gig. Darren Sproles is expected to bolt via free agency.
2. Williamson, Troy WR re-signed with JAC
Williamson missed almost all of last season due to injury. He did have an excellent pre-season though, and many thought he had turned a corner. With Torry Holt gone, Williamson once again becomes a pre-season sleeper in 2010.
1. Walter, Kevin WR is not likely to re-sign with HOU
This opens up a spot opposite Andre Johnson for Jacoby Jones. Jones becomes a serious sleeper for 2010 with Matt Schaub tossing him the rock in a high-powered offense.
ALSO
Brian Westbrook RB was released by PHI. At his age, with his spotty injury history, his fantasy value is shot. However, he could end up being relevant in PPR leagues as a FLEX third-down back, catching passes (maybe in MIN?). Bump up the value of LeSean McCoy in 2010 without Westbrook in the picture, though another back will likely be brought in to keep McCoy fresh... Nick Folk PK (DAL) signed with NYJ. His career was looking good before his 2009 meltdown. We'll see if he can get his mojo back in NYJ. He should probably not be drafted in fantasy, though. Jay Feely may even re-sign with the Jets and beat Folk out... Deion Branch WR SEA is likely to be released. He has said he wouldn't mind going back to Tom Brady and the Patriots... Thomas Jones is a cut candidate for NYJ if Leon Washington proves to be healthy, which he should. Shonn Greene proved in the playoffs that Jones is no longer needed on the Jets...
