On Sunday, February 14, 2010, RotoCommunity.com participated in a fantasy baseball mock draft (on Mock Draft Central) with the other industry experts listed below. Player position eligibility was provided by Mock Draft Central. We assumed standard 5x5 category roto scoring with 23 starters and no reserves (for the purposes of the mock). Here's how the draft went down round-by-round, with analysis following each round.

You can go here to read about my first mock draft of the season (1/26/10). That one was a 12-teamer. Go here to read about my 15-teamer from Sunday, 1/31. Go here to read about my Tuesday, 2/2 mock. Go here to read about my Tuesday, 2/9 mock. This is my fifth expert mock within the past few weeks.

Scoring the No. 1 pick brings a fair amount of joy, but also its share of challenges. Granted, the best player in the game will don your mantle for the entire season, but it's a loooong wait until you get to pick again. You may find yourself having to reach a bit for a player that certainly won't make it back to you, but who fills a current need on your roster. Well, let's get to it and see how I made out.

ROUND 1

RoundTeamPlayerPosTeam
R1 P1 RotoCommunity_Davidson Pujols, Albert 1B STL
R1 P2 Ivar Anderson-Fantasy Gameday Rodriguez, Alex 3B NYY
R1 P3 Damon's Market Ramirez, Hanley SS FLA
R1 P4 steve b Braun, Ryan OF MIL
R1 P5 aaron marks Kemp, Matt OF LA
R1 P6 Tim@RotoRob Fielder, Prince 1B MIL
R1 P7 Dawgs Longoria, Evan 3B TB
R1 P8 Spankin'DMonkee Utley, Chase 2B PHI
R1 P9 Cobra Kai Teixeira, Mark 1B NYY
R1 P10 Kostas Krew Cabrera, Miguel 1B DET
R1 P11 RotoCommunityNord Howard, Ryan 1B PHI
R1 P12 blahblahblah Lincecum, Tim SP SF

Wow, what a shocker. Pujols is the clear No. 1 pick in every fantasy format I know of, so let's welcome him aboard. A-Rod at No. 2 was a surprise, as was Chase Utley falling to No. 8.

ROUND 2

R2 P1 blahblahblah Crawford, Carl OF TB
R2 P2 RotoCommunityNord Wright, David 3B NYM
R2 P3 Kostas Krew Tulowitzki, Troy SS COL
R2 P4 Cobra Kai Phillips, Brandon 2B CIN
R2 P5 Spankin'DMonkee Rollins, Jimmy SS PHI
R2 P6 Dawgs Youkilis, Kevin 1B BOS
R2 P7 Tim@RotoRob Kinsler, Ian 2B TEX
R2 P8 aaron marks Zimmerman, Ryan 3B WAS
R2 P9 steve b Reynolds, Mark 3B ARI
R2 P10 Damon's Market Holliday, Matt OF STL
R2 P11 Ivar Anderson-Fantasy Gameday Votto, Joey 1B CIN
R2 P12 RotoCommunity_Davidson Mauer, Joe C MIN

What in the wide, wide world of sports is Joe Mauer doing still on the board at No. 24 in a two-catcher format? I don't usually pull the trigger on a backstop this early, but the prospect of landing a second player that is clearly the best at his position was just too good to pass up. Steve takes the Reynolds plunge, but I don't think I'll be diving into that pool quite this early. Phillips before Kinsler is new, as is three third baseman going off the board in Round 2. I guess that whole "position scarcity" thing is driving the market, huh?

ROUND 3

R3 P1 RotoCommunity_Davidson Upton, Justin OF ARI
R3 P2 Ivar Anderson-Fantasy Gameday Halladay, Roy SP PHI
R3 P3 Damon's Market Pedroia, Dustin 2B BOS
R3 P4 steve b Werth, Jayson OF PHI
R3 P5 aaron marks Sandoval, Pablo 3B SF
R3 P6 Tim@RotoRob Martinez, Victor C BOS
R3 P7 Dawgs Ellsbury, Jacoby OF BOS
R3 P8 Spankin'DMonkee Sizemore, Grady OF CLE
R3 P9 Cobra Kai McCann, Brian C ATL
R3 P10 Kostas Krew Gonzalez, Adrian 1B SD
R3 P11 RotoCommunityNord Bay, Jason OF NYM
R3 P12 blahblahblah Reyes, Jose SS NYM

I wanted an outfielder on board, and Upton just oozes 30-30 potential. I considered Sizemore, but I happened to be drinking a cup of coffee during the draft, and the visuals were just too strong to overcome. Oh wait, those pictures don't exist... never mind. Tim jumps on the catcher train, but I thought McCann might have gone a bit early. Ditto for Jason Bay, who I believe will struggle in spacious Bailout Ballpa... errr... Citi Field. Reyes could be a steal at this juncture, though there's certainly some risk.

ROUND 4

R4 P1 blahblahblah Morneau, Justin 1B MIN
R4 P2 RotoCommunityNord Sabathia, CC SP NYY
R4 P3 Kostas Krew Suzuki, Ichiro OF SEA
R4 P4 Cobra Kai Jeter, Derek SS NYY
R4 P5 Spankin'DMonkee Greinke, Zack SP KC
R4 P6 Dawgs Hernandez, Felix SP SEA
R4 P7 Tim@RotoRob Lind, Adam OF TOR
R4 P8 aaron marks Zobrist, Ben 2B TB
R4 P9 steve b Roberts, Brian 2B BAL
R4 P10 Damon's Market Morales, Kendry 1B ANA
R4 P11 Ivar Anderson-Fantasy Gameday Haren, Dan SP ARI
R4 P12 RotoCommunity_Davidson Hill, Aaron 2B TOR

Well, this is a nice surprise; I don't think Hill will mash 30-plus taters again, but he should be good for 25 or so -- without going Uggla on your team batting average. I like Adam Lind a lot, and was sorry to see Tim grab him before I had the chance to. This kid can hit, and a .300-30-100 guy at this point is a very good thing indeed.

ROUND 5

R5 P1 RotoCommunity_Davidson Verlander, Justin SP DET
R5 P2 Ivar Anderson-Fantasy Gameday Cano, Robinson 2B NYY
R5 P3 Damon's Market Ramirez, Aramis 3B CHC
R5 P4 steve b Broxton, Jonathan RP LA
R5 P5 aaron marks Choo, Shin-Soo OF CLE
R5 P6 Tim@RotoRob Markakis, Nick OF BAL
R5 P7 Dawgs Ethier, Andre OF LA
R5 P8 Spankin'DMonkee Santana, Johan SP NYM
R5 P9 Cobra Kai Dunn, Adam OF WAS
R5 P10 Kostas Krew Hamilton, Josh OF TEX
R5 P11 RotoCommunityNord Lee, Cliff SP SEA
R5 P12 blahblahblah Granderson, Curtis OF NYY

I didn't like the potential starting pitchers that would available at the end of Round 6, so reached a bit for Verlander. If he repeats 2009, this will look like a bargain. I thought Broxton went a little early -- there are plenty of good closers on the board.

ROUND 6

R6 P1 blahblahblah Cruz, Nelson OF TEX
R6 P2 RotoCommunityNord Berkman, Lance 1B HOU
R6 P3 Kostas Krew Lester, Jon SP BOS
R6 P4 Cobra Kai Wainwright, Adam SP STL
R6 P5 Spankin'DMonkee Vazquez, Javier SP NYY
R6 P6 Dawgs Bartlett, Jason SS TB
R6 P7 Tim@RotoRob Papelbon, Jonathan RP BOS
R6 P8 aaron marks Lee, Carlos OF HOU
R6 P9 steve b Abreu, Bobby OF ANA
R6 P10 Damon's Market Upton, B.J. OF TB
R6 P11 Ivar Anderson-Fantasy Gameday Nathan, Joe RP MIN
R6 P12 RotoCommunity_Davidson Figgins, Chone 3B SEA

With third base running dry, I added an elite speed option in Figgy. Rumor has it that he's taking grounders at second this spring -- Middle Infield eligibility would be a wonderful thing. Steve B -- who took Broxton last round -- could have waited and "settled" for Joe Nathan.

ROUND 7

R7 P1 RotoCommunity_Davidson Ramirez, Manny OF LA
R7 P2 Ivar Anderson-Fantasy Gameday Rivera, Mariano RP NYY
R7 P3 Damon's Market Johnson, Josh SP FLA
R7 P4 steve b Young, Michael 3B TEX
R7 P5 aaron marks Victorino, Shane OF PHI
R7 P6 Tim@RotoRob Jones, Adam OF BAL
R7 P7 Dawgs Rodriguez, Wandy SP HOU
R7 P8 Spankin'DMonkee Uggla, Dan 2B FLA
R7 P9 Cobra Kai Butler, Billy 1B KC
R7 P10 Kostas Krew Gallardo, Yovani SP MIL
R7 P11 RotoCommunityNord Soriano, Alfonso OF CHC
R7 P12 blahblahblah Pena, Carlos 1B TB

I've written about Manny before -- I think he's in for a nice year in L.A. I'm not sure I understand taking Wandy over Yovani... or Beckett... or Carpenter.

ROUND 8

R8 P1 blahblahblah Beckham, Gordon 3B CHW
R8 P2 RotoCommunityNord Rodriguez, Francisco RP NYM
R8 P3 Kostas Krew Pence, Hunter OF HOU
R8 P4 Cobra Kai Beckett, Josh SP BOS
R8 P5 Spankin'DMonkee Hunter, Torii OF ANA
R8 P6 Dawgs Kendrick, Howie 2B ANA
R8 P7 Tim@RotoRob Soria, Joakim RP KC
R8 P8 aaron marks Lopez, Jose 2B SEA
R8 P9 steve b Cordero, Francisco RP CIN
R8 P10 Damon's Market Lee, Derrek 1B CHC
R8 P11 Ivar Anderson-Fantasy Gameday Bruce, Jay OF CIN
R8 P12 RotoCommunity_Davidson Carpenter, Chris SP STL

I was very surprised to see Carpenter still on the board, so went off my beaten track a bit and grabbed him. If he stays healthy, he's one of the best in the game. I like Jose Lopez, but this feels a bit early given the depth at middle infield. Bruce was in my queue... a pox upon your team, Ivar.

ROUND 9

R9 P1 RotoCommunity_Davidson Bell, Heath RP SD
R9 P2 Ivar Anderson-Fantasy Gameday Gonzalez, Carlos OF COL
R9 P3 Damon's Market Jimenez, Ubaldo SP COL
R9 P4 steve b McCutchen, Andrew OF PIT
R9 P5 aaron marks Nolasco, Ricky SP FLA
R9 P6 Tim@RotoRob Kershaw, Clayton SP LA
R9 P7 Dawgs Wagner, Billy RP ATL
R9 P8 Spankin'DMonkee Bourn, Michael OF HOU
R9 P9 Cobra Kai Ibanez, Raul OF PHI
R9 P10 Kostas Krew Wieters, Matt C BAL
R9 P11 RotoCommunityNord Beltran, Carlos OF NYM
R9 P12 blahblahblah Hamels, Cole SP PHI

That's good value on Bell here in the ninth round -- it's a good feeling to have an established closer on board when you have to wait 22 picks for your turn again.

ROUND 10

R10 P1 blahblahblah Stewart, Ian 3B COL
R10 P2 RotoCommunityNord McLouth, Nate OF ATL
R10 P3 Kostas Krew Jones, Chipper 3B ATL
R10 P4 Cobra Kai Wilson, Brian RP SF
R10 P5 Spankin'DMonkee Cantu, Jorge 1B FLA
R10 P6 Dawgs Hanson, Tommy SP ATL
R10 P7 Tim@RotoRob Cain, Matt SP SF
R10 P8 aaron marks Bailey, Andrew RP OAK
R10 P9 steve b Ramirez, Alexei SS CHW
R10 P10 Damon's Market Valverde, Jose RP DET
R10 P11 Ivar Anderson-Fantasy Gameday Reimold, Nolan OF BAL
R10 P12 RotoCommunity_Davidson Quentin, Carlos OF CHW

A definite upside pick here -- Quentin was an elite slugger before his injury-marred 2009 campaign. If he's healthy again, this will be a steal. I like Reimold as a prospect, but the price is pretty high here. That's good value on Bailey here... and I'm not worried about Joey Devine.

ROUND 11

R11 P1 RotoCommunity_Davidson Lackey, John SP BOS
R11 P2 Ivar Anderson-Fantasy Gameday Drew, Stephen SS ARI
R11 P3 Damon's Market Billingsley, Chad SP LA
R11 P4 steve b Weaver, Jered SP ANA
R11 P5 aaron marks Webb, Brandon SP ARI
R11 P6 Tim@RotoRob Kubel, Jason OF MIN
R11 P7 Dawgs Peavy, Jake SP CHW
R11 P8 Spankin'DMonkee Jones, Garrett OF PIT
R11 P9 Cobra Kai Span, Denard OF MIN
R11 P10 Kostas Krew Street, Huston RP COL
R11 P11 RotoCommunityNord Rios, Alex OF CHW
R11 P12 blahblahblah Posada, Jorge C NYY

Lackey will pitch against a bunch of opposing No. 3 starting pitchers this year, and has one of baseball's better bullpens behind him. He could win 17-18 games. I almost pulled the trigger on Webb, but I'm very skittish about his injury status.

ROUND 12

R12 P1 blahblahblah Anderson, Brett SP OAK
R12 P2 RotoCommunityNord Hawpe, Brad OF COL
R12 P3 Kostas Krew Hoffman, Trevor RP MIL
R12 P4 Cobra Kai Baker, Scott SP MIN
R12 P5 Spankin'DMonkee Francisco, Frank RP TEX
R12 P6 Dawgs Andrus, Elvis SS TEX
R12 P7 Tim@RotoRob Suzuki, Kurt C OAK
R12 P8 aaron marks Cabrera, Asdrubal SS CLE
R12 P9 steve b Jurrjens, Jair SP ATL
R12 P10 Damon's Market Soriano, Rafael RP TB
R12 P11 Ivar Anderson-Fantasy Gameday Morgan, Nyjer OF WAS
R12 P12 RotoCommunity_Davidson Cuddyer, Michael OF MIN

Cuddyer may have been a bit over his skis power-wise last season, but he should give me decent power numbers without killing my team BA. I like the Suzuki pick. I wonder if this is the last year that he'll be available at a decent price?

ROUND 13

R13 P1 RotoCommunity_Davidson Escobar, Yunel SS ATL
R13 P2 Ivar Anderson-Fantasy Gameday Cabrera, Orlando SS CIN
R13 P3 Damon's Market Montero, Miguel C ARI
R13 P4 steve b Ortiz, David DH BOS
R13 P5 aaron marks de la Rosa, Jorge SP COL
R13 P6 Tim@RotoRob Johnson, Kelly 2B ARI
R13 P7 Dawgs Gutierrez, Franklin OF SEA
R13 P8 Spankin'DMonkee Guerrero, Vladimir DH TEX
R13 P9 Cobra Kai Beltre, Adrian 3B BOS
R13 P10 Kostas Krew Garza, Matt SP TB
R13 P11 RotoCommunityNord Fuentes, Brian RP ANA
R13 P12 blahblahblah Qualls, Chad RP ARI

Escobar is a nice, safe harbor amidst all the uncertainty of your draft's latter rounds. You know what you're getting: solid BA, decent power, a goodly number of ribbies, and no speed.

ROUND 14

R14 P1 blahblahblah Aardsma, David RP SEA
R14 P2 RotoCommunityNord Furcal, Rafael SS LA
R14 P3 Kostas Krew Martin, Russell C LA
R14 P4 Cobra Kai Jenks, Bobby RP CHW
R14 P5 Spankin'DMonkee Molina, Bengie C SF
R14 P6 Dawgs Wood, Kerry RP CLE
R14 P7 Tim@RotoRob Davis, Rajai OF OAK
R14 P8 aaron marks Scherzer, Max SP DET
R14 P9 steve b Danks, John SP CHW
R14 P10 Damon's Market Borbon, Julio OF TEX
R14 P11 Ivar Anderson-Fantasy Gameday Oswalt, Roy SP HOU
R14 P12 RotoCommunity_Davidson Damon, Johnny OF FA

Tim broke my heart by grabbing Davis, so I settled for the then-unemployed Johnny Damon. He should be good for plenty of runs and 15-20 steals at the top of the Detroit order, though I'm not expecting 20-some homers again. And yes, I would have taken Oswalt if he had made it to me.

ROUND 15

R15 P1 RotoCommunity_Davidson Marmol, Carlos RP CHC
R15 P2 Ivar Anderson-Fantasy Gameday Aybar, Erick SS ANA
R15 P3 Damon's Market Ludwick, Ryan OF STL
R15 P4 steve b Iannetta, Chris C COL
R15 P5 aaron marks Cabrera, Everth SS SD
R15 P6 Tim@RotoRob Dempster, Ryan SP CHC
R15 P7 Dawgs Napoli, Mike C ANA
R15 P8 Spankin'DMonkee Lilly, Ted SP CHC
R15 P9 Cobra Kai Ross, Cody OF FLA
R15 P10 Kostas Krew Zambrano, Carlos SP CHC
R15 P11 RotoCommunityNord Shields, James SP TB
R15 P12 blahblahblah Hart, Corey OF MIL

Marmol is a good No. 2 closer, as he has the upside to be a No. 1 by the end of the year. Plus, if he tanks I haven't invested a ton of coin this late. I was a little short on speed at this point, so I had to pass on Ludwick for Damon.

ROUND 16

R16 P1 blahblahblah Feliz, Neftali SP TEX
R16 P2 RotoCommunityNord Burnett, A.J. SP NYY
R16 P3 Kostas Krew Lidge, Brad RP PHI
R16 P4 Cobra Kai Floyd, Gavin SP CHW
R16 P5 Spankin'DMonkee LaRoche, Adam 1B ARI
R16 P6 Dawgs Cameron, Mike OF BOS
R16 P7 Tim@RotoRob Price, David SP TB
R16 P8 aaron marks Buchholz, Clay SP BOS
R16 P9 steve b Peralta, Jhonny 3B CLE
R16 P10 Damon's Market Weeks, Rickie 2B MIL
R16 P11 Ivar Anderson-Fantasy Gameday Konerko, Paul 1B CHW
R16 P12 RotoCommunity_Davidson Jackson, Edwin SP ARI

The move to the NL should mean good things for E-Jax. He can be dominant at times, and if he can learn to command his wicked stuff, he can be an outstanding No. 3 Fantasy starting pitcher.

ROUND 17

R17 P1 RotoCommunity_Davidson Soto, Geovany C CHC
R17 P2 Ivar Anderson-Fantasy Gameday Hudson, Tim SP ATL
R17 P3 Damon's Market Gonzalez, Mike RP BAL
R17 P4 steve b Wolf, Randy SP MIL
R17 P5 aaron marks Niemann, Jeff SP TB
R17 P6 Tim@RotoRob Davis, Chris 1B TEX
R17 P7 Dawgs Harang, Aaron SP CIN
R17 P8 Spankin'DMonkee Coghlan, Chris OF FLA
R17 P9 Cobra Kai Prado, Martin 2B ATL
R17 P10 Kostas Krew Sheets, Ben SP OAK
R17 P11 RotoCommunityNord Tejada, Miguel SS BAL
R17 P12 blahblahblah Dotel, Octavio RP PIT

Soto has reportedly dropped some tonnage and is looking like he's ready to go to work. I'm not buying that he gets back to his 2008 level, but I'll take something in the range of .275-15-75. I'm avoiding Coghlan this year -- the loss of his second base eligibility kills a lot of his fantasy value. I love the Prado pick. This guy should have a regular job this season, and he showed enough stuff last year to make me think he's in for a breakout.

ROUND 18

R18 P1 blahblahblah Pierre, Juan OF CHW
R18 P2 RotoCommunityNord Franklin, Ryan RP STL
R18 P3 Kostas Krew Escobar, Alcides SS MIL
R18 P4 Cobra Kai Stubbs, Drew OF CIN
R18 P5 Spankin'DMonkee Kouzmanoff, Kevin 3B OAK
R18 P6 Dawgs Drew, J.D. OF BOS
R18 P7 Tim@RotoRob Nunez, Leo RP FLA
R18 P8 aaron marks Matusz, Brian SP BAL
R18 P9 steve b Rivera, Juan OF ANA
R18 P10 Damon's Market Slowey, Kevin SP MIN
R18 P11 Ivar Anderson-Fantasy Gameday Fowler, Dexter OF COL
R18 P12 RotoCommunity_Davidson Scutaro, Marco SS BOS

Scutaro was certainly way above his norms last season, but the Fenway Shoebox has a way of turning good hitters into great hitters. I was hoping Escobar would fall to me, but I had no such luck. JP is one of those "cheap speed" picks that dot this year's fantasy landscape.

ROUND 19

R19 P1 RotoCommunity_Davidson Kazmir, Scott SP ANA
R19 P2 Ivar Anderson-Fantasy Gameday Capps, Matt RP WAS
R19 P3 Damon's Market Pierzynski, A.J. C CHW
R19 P4 steve b Helton, Todd 1B COL
R19 P5 aaron marks Davis, Wade SP TB
R19 P6 Tim@RotoRob Theriot, Ryan SS CHC
R19 P7 Dawgs Sanchez, Jonathan SP SF
R19 P8 Spankin'DMonkee Sherrill, George RP LA
R19 P9 Cobra Kai Loney, James 1B LA
R19 P10 Kostas Krew Harden, Rich SP TEX
R19 P11 RotoCommunityNord Hudson, Orlando 2B MIN
R19 P12 blahblahblah Hairston, Scott OF SD

He's still young, his stuff can still be unhittable at times, and he's in a good environment for pitchers. Kaz is one of my favorite sleepers this season.

ROUND 20

R20 P1 blahblahblah Bedard, Erik SP SEA
R20 P2 RotoCommunityNord Howell, J.P. RP TB
R20 P3 Kostas Krew Wells, Vernon OF TOR
R20 P4 Cobra Kai Lindstrom, Matt RP HOU
R20 P5 Spankin'DMonkee Matsuzaka, Daisuke SP BOS
R20 P6 Dawgs Doumit, Ryan C PIT
R20 P7 Tim@RotoRob Lewis, Colby SP TEX
R20 P8 aaron marks Matsui, Hideki DH ANA
R20 P9 steve b Correia, Kevin SP SD
R20 P10 Damon's Market Rasmus, Colby OF STL
R20 P11 Ivar Anderson-Fantasy Gameday Bumgarner, Madison SP SF
R20 P12 RotoCommunity_Davidson Ordonez, Magglio OF DET

Mags is a filler outfield pick that has some upside, though his power appears to be all but gone. If he can hit .300 with 12-15 homers, call me a satisfied customer. That was a nice pick on Doumit -- maybe this is the year that the perpetual sleeper finally stays healthy and delivers the goods.

ROUND 21

R21 P1 RotoCommunity_Davidson Blake, Casey 3B LA
R21 P2 Ivar Anderson-Fantasy Gameday Molina, Yadier C STL
R21 P3 Damon's Market Kuroda, Hiroki SP LA
R21 P4 steve b Porcello, Rick SP DET
R21 P5 aaron marks Johnson, Nick 1B NYY
R21 P6 Tim@RotoRob Byrd, Marlon OF CHC
R21 P7 Dawgs Liriano, Francisco SP MIN
R21 P8 Spankin'DMonkee Chamberlain, Joba SP NYY
R21 P9 Cobra Kai Shoppach, Kelly C TB
R21 P10 Kostas Krew Polanco, Placido 2B PHI
R21 P11 RotoCommunityNord Pettitte, Andy SP NYY
R21 P12 blahblahblah Thornton, Matt RP CHW

I probably waited too long to fill my corner spot, as Blake is nothing more than serviceable. Unless he gets off to a hot start, Blake will be an early cut for the Flavor of the Day. Yadier Molina gets too little love. he's always hovering around .290 or so, and that's gold from your fantasy backstop.

ROUND 22

R22 P1 blahblahblah McGehee, Casey 3B MIL
R22 P2 RotoCommunityNord Olivo, Miguel C COL
R22 P3 Kostas Krew Blanks, Kyle OF SD
R22 P4 Cobra Kai Latos, Mat SP SD
R22 P5 Spankin'DMonkee Rodney, Fernando RP ANA
R22 P6 Dawgs Willingham, Josh OF WAS
R22 P7 Tim@RotoRob Freese, David 3B STL
R22 P8 aaron marks Castro, Jason C HOU
R22 P9 steve b Madson, Ryan RP PHI
R22 P10 Damon's Market DeRosa, Mark 3B SF
R22 P11 Ivar Anderson-Fantasy Gameday Ruiz, Carlos C PHI
R22 P12 RotoCommunity_Davidson Gregg, Kevin RP TOR

Meh -- third closer in the house. I don't think Gregg will hold the job for long, but he should at least rack up a few saves early on. It was interesting that a couple of closers-in-waiting were taken before Gregg, whom the Jays paid a lot of money to close for them.

ROUND 23

R23 P1 RotoCommunity_Davidson Hughes, Philip SP NYY
R23 P2 Ivar Anderson-Fantasy Gameday Rzepczynski, Marc SP TOR
R23 P3 Damon's Market Buehrle, Mark SP CHW
R23 P4 steve b Flores, Jesus C WAS
R23 P5 aaron marks Towles, J.R. C HOU
R23 P6 Tim@RotoRob Sanchez, Anibal SP FLA
R23 P7 Dawgs Wood, Brandon 3B ANA
R23 P8 Spankin'DMonkee Posey, Buster C SF
R23 P9 Cobra Kai League, Brandon RP SEA
R23 P10 Kostas Krew Francoeur, Jeff OF NYM
R23 P11 RotoCommunityNord Baker, John C FLA
R23 P12 blahblahblah Varitek, Jason C BOS

My love affair with Mr. Hughes continues -- at the very least he'll provide close to one strikeout per inning, with the upside for so much more. Posey is a great prospect, but I think he'll do most of his damage at Triple-A this year.

Not a bad draft -- plenty of power, a solid starting rotation of Verlander, Carpenter, Lackey, Jackson and Kazmir. Bell, Marmol and Gregg in the 'pen. I'm a bit nervous about stolen bases, but there always seems to be speed available on the wire once things get going.
