NOTE: Coach Shanahan could be considered a "key add" as well, as the team tries to rise above recent mediocrity.
THE BIG QUESTION
Will a fantasy RB emerge from among Portis, Johnson, and Parker?
Portis is reportedly in terrific shape, but there are plenty of miles on Kid Bro' Sweets' odometer. Still, he should see most of the touches, but Larry "Gramama" Johnson could snipe the goal-line carries and provide a change-of-pace to keep Portis fresh. Formerly Fast Willie Parker is only Kinda Fast these days and likely won't be a factor unless both Johnson and Portis go down with injuries.
Keep a close eye on how things shake out as the preseason unfolds -- if Johnson indeed becomes the short-yardage guy, Portis' already flagging value takes a severe hit. Portis probably has the best chance to be a fantasy starter, but he'll have to stay healthy and show that he can still pull red zone duty.
ALSO
Will the addition of McNabb bump up any of the Redskins receivers in the fantasy rankings?
Jason Campbell got the bum's rush out of D.C., but he wasn't all that bad last season - setting career highs in passing yards (3618), touchdowns (20) and completion percentage (64.5). By contrast, McNabb posted 3553 / 22 / 60.3 - though he played in only 14 games. McNabb has played in all 16 games only one time in the past six seasons, and has never been a particularly accurate passer. He's a step up from Campbell, but far from a quantum leap, and his effect on the 'Skins' receivers should be only a modest gain. Moss earns a slight boost, but until a second wideout option emerges it's hard to project any significant gains among that crew. Cooley is what he is, but Fred Davis' strong showing in 2009 cannot be ignored.

NOTE: McNabb will be fine until he breaks, while the running back rotation will be very closely watched this preseason. Davis could erode some of Cooley's fantasy worth if he continues the fine work he did in '09. Graham Gano looks like he'll start the season as the 'Skins' kicker, but he'll have a very short leash. Devin Thomas could become the full-time kick returner, and may even get a crack at returning punts if he doesn't win the #2 starting wideout job.
